Power Outages Reported In Fair Lawn Following Storm
PSE&G estimates that customers won't have power back until early Thursday morning. Here's what we know.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — A severe thunderstorm warning expired at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, but PSE&G customers might be without power into the early morning on Thursday.
The company reports more than 600 customers without power, with an estimated restoration time of 3:45 a.m. Thursday.

Severe thunderstorms were expected to arrive between the afternoon hours of 1 and 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Hail, 60-mph winds and power outages were possible.

Afternoon temperatures in the low to mid 60s will fall into the 40s by the evening, and heavy rain and damaging wind are possible, according to the NWS New York, New York office.

A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. High near 68. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

A 30 percent chance of showers before 7 p.m. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 35. Northwest wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
Thursday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
Thursday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 39. West wind 13 to 17 mph.
