How Fair Lawn Voted In Council Primary
There were no surprises in the primary contests for Fair Lawn council.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — The polls are closed, and unofficial votes are in for the Fair Lawn council race.
Deputy Mayor Josh Reinitz and Council Member Gail Rottenstrich are running for the two open seats, while Republicans Cindy Montano and Glen Callons will serve as their opponents.
Reinitz was elected to the Fair Lawn Council in 2018. He was named deputy mayor in January 2020. Rottenstrich was elected to the Fair Lawn Council in 2017 and served as deputy mayor in May 2018.

There are two available seats on the council, so no candidates will be eliminated after this primary contest, but the votes could still show us what to expect. Unofficial vote totals have been reported by Bergen County. They are:
- Josh Reinitz — 773
- Gail Rottenstrich — 848
- Matthew Beckoff — 85
- Cindy Montano — 710
- Glen Callons — 703
