Saddle Brook Schools Cancel Class Ahead Of Nor'easter
Students in Saddle Brook Schools will get a day off Thursday after the district announced a snow day.
SADDLE BROOK, NJ — Saddle Brook Schools students will get the chance to sleep in, find a sledding hill or relax Thursday, as the district cancelled classes ahead of the forecasted snow storm.
The National Weather Service labeled the "major" system a "nor'easter" since it's expected to produce strong, sustained damaging winds and precipitation over a 24-hour period on Wednesday.
The storm is projected to dump up to a foot of snow in the northern part of the state, making roadways dangerous, and potentially knocking out power for multiple communities.

But as far as the district is concerned, all students should be concerned about is staying warm and having fun.
"The Saddle Brook School District will be closed Thursday, December 17th. There will be NO virtual schooling taking place. Please be safe, and enjoy the snow day," the district wrote in their announcement.
