'Troll 2' Screening, Candidates Forum, Trunk-or-Treat This Week

Here's a look at the week ahead in Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook.

Fair Lawn will host blood pressure screenings from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday in the municipal building.

The Fair Lawn Zoning Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the municipal building.

The Fair Lawn Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building. The agenda is available here.

The League of Women Voters will host a forum for the District 38 state Assembly and Senate candidates at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in East Brook Middle School in Paramus.

The Fair Lawn Library is hosting weekly Scrabble games at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The Fair Lawn Library will screen "Troll 2" for students in grades seven through 12 at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Fair Lawn will hold the second annual "trunk-or-treat" from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Halloween, at Memorial Park. Cars should be parked between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

The Old Library Theatre will present "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" at the Fair Lawn Community Center. The shows start at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available from their website.

A fundraiser will be held to help a Saddle Brook resident with a rare form of epilepsy at the township VFW Saturday.
