This is New Jersey's Richest County
This may be a bit surprising: Households here make $33,000 more each year than the median in New Jersey.

NEW JERSEY – A new study analyzing the wealthiest counties around the country has identified the richest in New Jersey. And it's not where you'll find the hulking mansions of the Jersey Shore and Bergen County, or the sprawling, bucolic neighborhoods of Essex and Union counties.
The richest in New Jersey is the somewhat suburban, mostly rural Hunterdon County in North Jersey (or is it Central Jersey?), according to the financial news and opinion site 24/7 Wall St. Households there make $33,000 more each year than the median in New Jersey.
In Hunterdon County, the median household makes $112,535 a year, according to the report published in January. That's compared to a median of $79,363 across New Jersey.
