YCFL Comfort Women Memorial Commemoration

Please join the Youth Council of Fort Lee on Thursday, June 3 at 5pm for the Comfort Women Memorial Commemoration in Constitution Park. The “Comfort Women” Memorial is dedicated to the thousands of enslaved Asian women during WWII. Historians estimate between 20,000 and 200,000 girls and women were abducted and forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese Imperial Army. The victims came from all over Asia, with many from Korea.
