Buddy Hackett's Historic Former Fort Lee Home Is On The Market

WOW House: NY Waterway founder Arthur Imperatore purchased the house in 1970.

FORT LEE, NJ — A property that recently went on the market used to be home to one of the funniest, and one of the most feared, men alive.

The estate at 75 Bluff Road includes not just the 6,500-square home that Buddy Hackett and former head of Murder Incorporated — Albert Anastasia — used to own, it includes other surrounding houses and land.

Hackett purchased it in 1958. New York Waterway founder Arthur Imperatore bought it in 1970. The estate was slated to be sold at auction last year, but a buyer came forward at the last minute and purchased the property.
