FORT LEE, NJ — After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here in Fort Lee.
There are a few local races on the Fort Lee ballot this year, including for mayor.

Locally, Democrat Mark Sokolich is running against Anthony Navas for mayor.
Democrats Ila Kasofsky and Peter Suh are running against Republicans Linda Barba and Eric Fisher.

Three people are running unopposed for three seats on the board of education: Candace Romba, Paula Colbath, and Michael Rubino.
Residents will also vote for two people to represent the 37th Legislative District in the New Jersey State Assembly: Democrats Gordon Johnson and Valerie Vainieri-Huttle and running for re-election against Angela Hendricks and Gino Tessaro. Libertarian Claudio Belusic is also running for an assembly seat.
There are six people running for three seats on the Board of Chosen Freeholders: Republicans Corrado Belgiovine, Alyssa K. Dawson, and Kathleen E. Cericola and Democrats Thomas J. Sullivan, Mary Amoroso, and Germaine Ortiz.
