The 1992 film Newsies will be shown in the Fort Lee Public Library meeting room on
Thursday, March 14th, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Back on Broadway right now, this musical is
based on the New York City newsboy strike of 1899. When young newspaper sellers are
exploited beyond reason by their bosses, they set out to enact change.
Admission is free and the public is cordially invited.
