Fort Lee Resident Dies A Day After Being Struck By Car On Bridge Plaza North

Beverly Chesler worked for more than 30 years at an orthodontist's office in Teaneck.

Beverly Chesler has been walking east on the north sidewalk at Bridge Plaza North at 4:30 p.m. Friday, NorthJersey.com reported.

A car traveling south on Mackay Avenue was trying to make a right turn onto Bridge Plaza North and hit Chesler.

She suffered “catastrophic damage” to her brain stem, her son Adam told the website.

She worked for more than 30 years as an orthodontists assistant in Teaneck and volunteered at Holy Name Hospital, her obituary states.

In addition to her son, she is survived by her two other children, Rochelle Forstot and Joel Chesler.
