Fort Lee School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Fort Lee is September 6. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Fort Lee School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/21 - 9/22: No School (Rosh Hashanah)

October

• 10/9: Early Dismissal (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/7: No School (Election Day)
• 11/9 - 11/10: No School for Students (NJEA Convention)
• 11/22: Early Dismissal
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/22: Early Dismissal
• 12/25 - 12/29: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)
• 1/23 - 1/25: Elementary Early Dismissal (Parent-Teacher Conferences)

February

• 2/16 - 2/19: No School (Presidents' Weekend)

March

• 3/26 - 3/30: No School (Spring Recess, Good Friday)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/21: Early Dismissal, Middle School Commencement
• 6/22: Last Day for Students, Early Dismissal, High School Graduation
• 6/25: Last Day for Teachers
