The blue wave that swept through New Jersey Tuesday reached Bergen County, election numbers show.

FORT LEE, NJ — Democrats control the U.S. House of Representatives thanks to the party taking several seats away from the Republican Party.
Locally, Democrat Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., who represents the 9th District, was re-elected to another term.
In the Senate, New Jersey's Robert Menendez was re-elected to a fourth term.

Menendez received 164,037 votes in Bergen County to Hugin's 130,558.
