Lady Bridgeman Named Athlete Of The Week: Report

FORT LEE, NJ - Sara Diaz was named The Record’s athlete of the week Tuesday.

Diaz helped the Lady Bridgemen beat Cliffside Park soundly last Tuesday 56-35 with 19 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and four steals, the report said.

She had 21 pounds and 10 rebounds in a loss to Dumont two days later and 19 pounds and 11 rebounds in the Lady Bridgemen’s win over Lyndhurst Saturday.

Diaz’s coach Stacie Findanis said she often has Diaz defend the other team’s best player.
