Palisades Medical Center Joins Bergen-Based University Health Network
Network now has facilities in Hackensack, Westwood, Montclair, and North Bergen.
Palisades Medical Center is now a member of the Hackensack University Health Network.
State and federal recently approved the state’s fourth largest hospital joining a network that already includes medical centers in Hackensack, Westwood, and Montclair.
Palisades Medical Center is based in North Bergen. The Hackensack and Palisades facilities have worked collaboratively since 2012 in the areas of cardiology, neonatology, and oncology.

“This represents a wonderful milestone for Palisades Medical Center and our communities as we become part of the premier healthcare system in New Jersey,” said Bruce J. Markowitz, president and chief executive officer of HackensackUMC Palisades.
The four-facility network features more than 3,300 physicians and 1,700 beds and is one of the largest healthcare systems in the state.
