FORT LEE, NJ — There number of raccoons spotted around town has increased lately, the borough announced Friday.

They have been seen especially around the area of North Central Road.

"We ask that you remember that they are wild animals and should not be approached at any time," the borough advised.

People who come across a raccoon who appears sick or aggressive should report it to the Fort Lee Police Department, at 201-592-3700.
