Democrats Sweep Fort Lee Council Election
The winners claimed victory by about 3,000 votes each.

FORT LEE, NJ — The Democrats swept the Borough Council election again.
Incumbent Democrats Joseph Cervieri and Harvey Sohmer ran for re-election against Republican challengers Judith Fisher and Stephen Beovich.
Five people ran for three, three-year seats on the Board of Education: Pratima Roy, Holly Morell, Esther Han Silver, Kristen Richter, and Alan J. Keller. Morell and Han Silver are incumbents.
