Registration For Fort Lee Soccer And Mini-Camps Opens Wednesday
The Recreation Department is also putting together the 2021 Summer Playground program​, which will have a lottery for registration.
FORT LEE — Starting tomorrow, May 26, parents can sign up their kids for the Fort Lee Recreation Department’s Summer Outdoor Soccer and Mini-Camps.
The programs are available for Fort Lee Residents only, ages 2 to 11. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
Camps will take place on the basketball courts at William Birch Park (by the Recreation Center at the bottom of Stillwell Avenue) and at Van Fleet Field (off Myrtle Avenue).

The department is also putting together the 2021 Summer Playground program, which will run significantly different from previous years fur to COVID-19 guidelines. Activities were moved outdoors and the capacity was reduced in order to reduce the risk of transmission
In an attempt to find the fairest way to select participants, the department is holding a lottery on June 9. Residents can pre-register by dropping off forms at the Recreation Center.

The winners will be notified after the drawing and asked to provide proof of residency ad birth certificates.

Participants will have to practice social distancing, wear masks, remain in small groups, for example.
