Rep. Pascrell Wins 9th District Race
Pascrell was first elected to the House in 1996.

Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr. easily clinched another term Tuesday representing New Jersey’s 9th Congressional District.
Pascrell, a Paterson resident and democrat, defeated Republican Hector Castillo, Libertarian Diego Rivera, and Jeff Boss. Pascrell received 151,449 votes. Castillo received 61,446, according to CNN.
Pascrell was first elected in 1996. He previously represented New Jersey's 8th District, but the districts were redrawn in 2011. He won election to the 9th in 2012.

Pascrell serves on the House Budget and Ways and Means committees.
