Another Hackettstown Heroin Bust Tipped Off By Warrant: Police

The Warren County Prosecutor's Office had an outstanding warrant for Gregory Becker arrest, who has been charged before.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Hackettstown Police Department arrested an individual on Tuesday night, who was already on the radar of the county prosecutor’s office.

Police picked up Gregory Becker, 34, of Independence at about 7:25 p.m. near Main St. According to Hackettstown Police, an officer recognized Becker as a person the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office had been seeking for outstanding drug offenses.

Police say they charged Becker with both possession of drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles, after picking him up with 17 heroin wax folds, nine needles and “a bottom of an aluminum can with burnt narcotics’ residue.”

Pending his court appearance, Becker is presently lodged in the Warren County Correctional Center.

Hackettstown Police previously arrested Becker on Main St. on March 10, also for an outstanding warrant with the prosecutor’s office. At the time of that arrest, Becker possessed 20 wax folds of heroin and five used needles.
