Dalcourt's Desserts Opening First Storefront In Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ _ Dalcourt's Desserts, a gourmet pudding company, is opening their first storefront location in Hackettstown.

The shop will be located at the Cross Roads Shopping Plaza on Route 517 in Hackettstown. They're currently aiming for a May or early June opening.

The business was developed as a class project by owner Justin Dalcourt at Centenary College. He began making pudding for friends and family in high school, and, after developing the business plan in class, expanded to selling online and at local markets, the college said.

Half a pound of pudding is $5, the website says, and they offer various sizes. The biggest size, a 5 pound tray, sells for $30. For a full list of sizes and flavors, visit their website.

Some flavors the company has offered include cake batter, vanilla bean cappuccino, pumpkin pie and Oreo.
