Hackettstown police reported the following recent incidents:

Nov. 25

Marijuana arrest

A 30-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested and charged with marijuana possession after a traffic stop on Rt. 517.

Devon Deblasio had two marijuana cigarettes inside a cigarette box in the car.

He was also charged with possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle on private property to avoid a traffic sign.

Shoplifting

Police arrested a 49-year-old township woman who stole an airplane-sized bottle of New Amsterdam vodka from ShopRite Wine & Liquors on Rt. 46.

Janice Matzek was charged with shoplifting.
