Drunk Driver Smashes Parked Car: Hackettstown Police
Samuel Roff slammed his Kia into a Dodge Ram, police said.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - A 25-year-old Mansfield Township man was charged with drunk driving after smashing his car into a parked truck on Oct. 25, according to the Hackettstown Police Department.
The Hackettstown police responded to Arthur Terrace for a report of a motor vehicle crash shortly before 4:30 a.m., authorities said. Through an investigation it was determined that Samuel Roff drove his 2009 Kia into a 2010 Dodge Ram which was parked alongside the roadway, police said.
Roff was under the influence of alcohol while driving, police said.

No injuries were reported and Roff was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to exhibit insurance card and released pending a court appearance.
