Police: Essex County Man Caught Using Fraudulent Prescription at Rite Aid

East Orange resident accused of altering a prescription for 120 Oxycodone pills.

An Essex County man was arrested last week trying to fill a fraudulent prescription for Oxycodone at Rite Aid, Hackettstown Police said.

Alquide Frank, 35, of East Orange, was charged with forgery and attempting to obtain a controlled dangerous substance by fraud.

According to Sgt. Darren Tynan, police were notified of a man trying to use a fraudulent prescription at about 12:55 p.m. Thursday. An investigation determined Frank altered a prescription that was not authorized by Dr. Conception A. Dancel for 120 30 mg Oxycodone pills, Tynan said.

Officers also discovered Frank had a $5,000 warrant out of Newark and a $237 warrant from East Orange.
