Firework Used to Blow Up Mailbox Leads to Hackettstown Man's Arrest
Scott Biasi was found with an open bottle of rum and pipe with suspected marijuana, police said.

A Hackettstown man was charged with criminal mischief and drug possession after he blew up a Sharp Street mailbox with a firework in August, according to Hackettstown police.
Scott Biasi, 20, was arrested on Sunday after he was found and identified as the person responsible for the mailbox destruction, Sgt. Darren Tynan said. Police began investigating reports of mailbox destruction on Aug. 27.
Police found Biasi with an open bottle of rum and a glass smoking pipe with suspected marijuana, Tynan said.
He was arrested and transported to the police station, where he was later released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
