Hackettstown Driver Injured in Fatal Allamuchy Collision
Michael Dalessio was injured Friday night in a head-on crash that killed a Canadian woman.

A Hackettstown man along with several others were injured and a Canadian woman was killed in a Friday night accident in Allamuchy Township.
Hackettstown resident Michael Dalessio was driving northbound around 11:35 p.m. on County Road 517 in Allamuchy when he allegedly failed to yield when making a left turn and struck a minivan, New Jersey State Police spokesman Sgt. Brian Polite told NJ.com.
Deepa Panchal of Windsor, Canada, a passenger in the minivan, was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Dalessio, 32, is in serious but stable condition at Morristown Medical Center, NJ.com reported.
The crash is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed, according to NJ.com.
