Hackettstown Man Steals Trump/Pence Sign For His Own Lawn
A Hackettstown man in need of a Trump/Pence sign plucked it from another's yard.

It wasn't the usual news story involving vandals hijacking a Trump/Pence sign.
Police in Hackettstown got a call over the weekend about a stolen Trump/Pence sign from a house on Main Street. They arrived at about 3 PM on Saturday afternoon to find that two signs had been stolen from the victim's lawn--a Trump/Pence and a "Hillary for Prison" sign. The victim though, had surveillance on his yard, and authorities were able to determine that the theft happened the day before.
The next day, at about 1 PM, a Hackettstown officer was driving around when he noticed the very same signs on the lawn of a house on East Valley View Avenue. The police officer also found that the car in the driveway was one and the same as that shown on the surveillance footage from the day before. After some investigation, the police discovered that 28-year-old Christopher Buckley of Hackettstown had stolen the signs to place them on his own lawn. He was charged with disorderly conduct and released pending a court appearance.
