Hackettstown Police Want Your Blood—For Donation
The Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA Local 369 will be hosting a blood drive Jan. 30.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - The Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA Local 369 will be hosting a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 30.
The drive is scheduled to take place at the Miller Street Firehouse, 101 Miller Street.
Blood products have a short shelf life – from five to 42 days, so constant replenishment is necessary, officials said. Each day there are patients who depend on the transfusion of red blood cells, platelets and plasma to stay alive.
