Man Accused Of Stalking Hackettstown Dollar Store Employee: PD

Police say the man would wait in his car, and enter the store when he knew the employee would be alone.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A Mount Arlington man is accused of stalking a Hackettstown Dollar Mart employee, Mount Olive police said.

John A. Terranova, 35, was arrested Tuesday afternoon, after an employee called police to report a man who came in several times and made suggestive comments, police said.

Police say Terranova would wait in his car in the parking lot until the employee was alone, and then entire the store. It happened at least three times, police said.

Terranova was found in his car nearby the store. He was arrested and charged with stalking, and was released with an upcoming court date.
