Man Sold $7K in Stolen Goods, Cops Say
Stolen jewelry sold to The Gold Mine, police said.

An Independence Township man was charged with selling stolen goods after Hackettstown police said he sold thousands of dollars worth of stolen jewelry to The Gold Mine on Main Street.
Rory Molnar, 27, was arrested in his hometown for burglary, according to Sgt. Darren Tynan of the Hackettstown Police Department.
As Independence police investigated, they determined he had sold stolen jewelry worth a total of $7,735 to The Gold Mine on different dates, Tynan said.
The items were:Â
- One ring and two bracelets, total value $885, sold on Feb. 2
- One ring, total value $850, sold on Feb. 4
- Two rings, four charms and one necklace, total value $1,065, sold on April 29
- Three rings and one set of cuff links, total value $4,635, sold on May 2
- One bracelet and one charm, total value $300, sold on July 22.
