Man Charged In Hackettstown Invasion Of Privacy Cases
A Flanders resident has been accused of stealing images from women's cell phones and taking nude video of one without her consent.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The Hackettstown Police Department took the lead in an investigation with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, charging a Morris County man with stealing provocative images from two women's cell phones and shooting nude video of another without her permission.
Sgt. Darren Tynan said Zachary Chambers, 28, of Flanders, turned himself in on Tuesday after learning of charges filed against him on Monday.
The allegations against Chambers came to the attention of Hackettstown Det. Christopher Spiegler on March 1, who worked on the case with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

“An incident occurred in Hackettstown and we became the lead agency in the investigation,” Tynan said during a phone interview with Patch on Tuesday.
Chambers knew each of the women, Tynan added.

The first woman accused Chambers of transferring nude pictures of her that he found on her phone in Oct. 2019, to his phone and Google Accounts. The second said she later discovered Chambers had shot nude video of her without her permission, while she was at her home. The third reported that in Jan. and Feb. 2021, Chambers swiped images of her in her underwear that had also been on her phone, which he proceeded - like in the 2019 case - to transfer to his Google Accounts and cell phone.
While Chambers awaits his first appearance, he remains lodged at the Warren County Correctional Facility.
