Mount Olive to Handle Hackettstown Fire Inspections in New Year
Hackettstown entered into a shared services agreement with neighbors.

If you're renovating a building in Hackettstown, don't head to Town Hall to get a fire inspection.
As of Jan. 1, Hackettstown will be using the services of Mount Olive Township's fire inspectors to perform those tasks for buildings in town.Â
Hackettstown entered into a shared service agreement with Mount Olive, which was posted in a letter signed by Town Clerk and Adminstrator William W. Kuster, Jr. on the Hackettstown website.

All inspection and certification services will still be provided, the letter said, but will now be done through the Mount Olive Township Fire Official office. After Dec. 31, all calls and inquiries should be directed to Mount Olive at 973-691-0900, ext. 7326. Â
Anyone with questions can call the Hackettstown Municipal Building at 908-852-3130.
