Person Who Punched McDonald’s Kiosk In Hackettstown Charged
Hackettstown Police say Michael Garcia, 19, also damaged a drink dispenser in the eatery, sat on the counter and ran around outside.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Police say a man who sat on the food-ordering counter before running around the outside of the McDonald’s on Mountain Avenue, has been charged with both criminal mischief and a disorderly persons offense.
Michael Garcia of Hackettstown reportedly jumped and took a seat on the counter inside the restaurant, broke a drink dispenser and slammed one of the order kiosks with his fist, before he exited the business at about 3:06 p.m. on Friday, June 11.
Witnesses also said before the Hackettstown Police Department arrived, Garcia, 19, circled the exterior of the restaurant on foot.

Prior to being charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, Sgt. Darren Tynan of the Hackettstown Police said Garcia was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center by the Hackettstown First Aid and Rescue Squad.
Tynan said Garcia is presently awaiting a court appearance and was released.
