Police Log: Three Warrants And Further Details In Ongoing iPhone Theft Case
Hackettstown Police serve three warrants on Tuesday and a man involved with a July iPhone theft is charged.

Dezarae Farrand, 19, of Long Valley, allegedly played a role in a July iPhone theft. According to Hackettstown Police, Farrand paid two juveniles to snatch a Apple iPhone 5 from a motor vehicle on July 14th. Police were alerted to the crime and went to a home on Mitchell Road to investigate.
The other individuals involved in the theft, including the two Hackettstown juveniles, aged 14 and 15, and a 19-year-old, also from Hackettstown, were charged with one count of disorderly persons theft by unlawful taking on August 2 and released pending a court appearance. Farrand was charged with one count of fourth degree employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime and one count of disorderly persons theft by unlawful taking.
Additionally, three individuals were arrested in separate cases on municipal court traffic warrants. Hackettstown Police arrested a 30-year-old of Palmerton, PA on an $89.00 Hackettstown municipal court traffic warrant. He posted the bail and was then released.

Police also arrested a 25-year-old of Hackettstown, on a $500.00 Hackettstown municipal court traffic warrant. He posted bail and was then released.
Police also arrested 23-year-old of Flanders, on an $89.00 Hackettstown municipal court traffic warrant. He posted the bail and was then released.
