Annual Summer Bash at the Heights Library This Week

Coming up this week

The wait is almost over - as the Hasbrouck Heights Library's annual summer bash event will be here this Friday. 

On the first Friday of August each year the library completely transforms literally from ceiling to floor into a wonderland for kids and their parents to enjoy.

Decorations already began going up last week and when Friday comes the place will be completely transformed to meet this year's theme of "Journey to the Center of the World."

Also this week

• Patch plans to update readers on new policies the Board of Education is considering for the school year relating to the use of cell phones in class and detention at lower level grades. 
• A family movie night is being planned for late August and Patch will have the scoop on that upcoming event.
• As always Tuesdays bring the Farmers Market to the Central Avenue parking lot from 12 to 6 p.m.
