HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here in Hasbrouck Heights.

There are a number of races on the Hasbrouck Heights ballot this year, including for mayor.

Incumbent Mayor John DeLorenzo III is running against incumbent councilman Christopher Hillmann in the mayor's race.

Republicans Josephine Ciocia and Ronald Kistner are running against Democrats Helayne Weiss and Rudy Baez.

Five people are vying for three, three-year terms on the board of education: Robert Faussette, Lori Cintron, Lisa Krommenhoek, Michelle Maccaquano, and Patricia Caruso.

Joseph Rinke is running unopposed for an unexpired two-year term on the board of education.

Residents will also vote for two people to represent the 38th Legislative District in the New Jersey State Assembly: Democratic incumbents Lisa Swain and Christopher Tully and Republicans Michael A. Kazimir and Christopher DiPazza.

There are six people running for three seats on the Board of Chosen Freeholders: Republicans Corrado Belgiovine, Alyssa K. Dawson, and Kathleen E. Cericola and Democrats Thomas J. Sullivan, Mary Amoroso, and Germaine Ortiz.
