Friday: Family Movie Festival in Hasbrouck Heights

Friday night brings a family film festival to Hasbrouck Heights' Depken Field. The Hasbrouck Heights PBA has teamed up with Care One at Wellington to put this event together. Proceeds benefit the Special Olympics. Entertainment begins at 8 p.m. and the screening of "Shrek" starts at 9 p.m. There will be a fee of $3 per ticket. 

Comedian Dan Sober performs at Banana's Comedy Club Friday at 9 p.m. He is also doing two shows on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 and 10:15 p.m. Visit Banana's website for more information. 

Heights senior center activities today include Fun Bingo at 10 a.m. and seniors can come enjoy the lounge from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
