Hasbrouck Heights Among Top 100 NJ Towns: NJ Monthly

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — Hasbrouck Heights was ranked among the top 100 towns in New Jersey by New Jersey Monthly magazine for 2019.

New Jersey Monthly looked at several factors to determine the rankings, including average tax bills, the average change in tax bills since 2016, median home prices and their changes since 2016, the crime rate per 1,000 residents, and local high schools' rank by New Jersey Monthly.

Hasbrouck Heights was ranked No. 84.

Hasbrouck Heights residents' tax bills increased slightly, less than 2 percent, since 2016. The median tax bill is now $10,922, according to the magazine.

The median home price in Hasbrouck Heights is $465,000, which is a whopping 17 percent more than what it was in 2016.
