Hasbrouck Heights School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

HASHBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — The first day of school in Hasbrouck Heights is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Hasbrouck Heights School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/8 - 11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/21: Early Dismissal
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/21: Early Dismissal
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School for Students (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Winter Recess)
• 2/25: Classes Resume

April

• 4/12: Early Dismissal
• 4/15 - 4/19: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/18 - 6/20: Early Dismissal
• 6/21: Last Day of School/Early Dismissal/Graduation (Grades 8 and 12)
