Hasbrouck Heights School District Places High In New NJ Rankings

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — Data compiler Niche has ranked New Jersey's best school districts for 2019, and Hasbrouck Heights was ranked among the top 100 districts. The rankings were released this week as part of the website's 2019 rankings.

Hasbrouck Heights was ranked 100th.

Other Bergen County districts were ranked high.

Tenafly, Fair Lawn, Ridgewood, Mahwah, and Ramsey were ranked higher at eighth, 11th, 18th, 24th, and 27th, respectively. Glen Rock was ranked 29th. River Dell was ranked 41st and Paramus 44th. Westwood Regional School District was ranked 78th. New Milford was ranked 92nd.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

Districts received letter grade in the following categories: Academics, diversity, teachers, college prep, clubs and activities, health and safety, administration, sports, food, and resources and facilities.
