
The Hasbrouck Heights Health Department is offering a blood screening program Thursday, Oct. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Residents can sign-up for a blood screening at the cost of $20. The screening will provide a blood chemistry profile consisting of a chem. 23, lipid profile, CBC and T4 (thyroid). A copy of the results will be sent directly to the participant and his or her private medical doctor.Â
Other screenings available include PSA (prostate specific antigen) a blood screening which can detect prostate cancer in males. The cost is $30. Also offered is a Vitamin D25 screening at the cost of $30.Â
Payments must be made by cash or check only. Fasting will be required for the tests.Â
