Heights Offers Free Paper Shredding Event April 6

Hasbrouck Heights once again will host a free paper shredding event on Saturday, April 6 at the Borough Hall parking lot on Central Avenue.

The borough has been offering these paper shredding events twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, for the past few years. The recycling event gives residents an opportunity to discard of confidential documents in a safe and secure manner.

The paper shredding recycling truck will be housed at the parking lot from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on April 6.

The event is co-sponsored by the Bergen County Utilities Authority. These events have brought in thousands of pounds of recycled papers over the past few years. One event yielded nearly .
