A non-profit human quality organization has become one of the newest tenants at Heights Plaza.
Peace Islands Institute relocated its offices from Newark leasing 3,200 square feet at the 777 Terrace Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights building which is owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
The organization hosts educational and cultural activities, such as lectures, seminars, discussion panels and youth-based programs with the goal of creating an 'island of peace' for people of all ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds. Aside from New Jersey, the organization has branches in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Frank C. Pratt, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ vice president of leasing, said in a company statement the organization chose Heights Plaza due to its "proximity to New York City and superior highway access, combined with ample on-site and neighborhood amenities, added to its ideal suitability for this organization."
