Houlihan's Restaurant In Hasbouck Heights Closes
The restaurant's closing was attributed to Houlihan's filing for bankruptcy protection.
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — The Houlihan's on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights has closed.
The restaurant announced the closing on its Facebook page Sunday.
"There is never a good time to close a restaurant," the announcement said, "on behalf of the entire team, thank you for your support and friendship over the years. We do hope to see you at one of our other locations."

Management is "doing everything possible to minimize the impact" to affected team members by working to place them at different continuing locations, and reaching out to local restaurant companies, officials said in the announcement.
Houlihan's filed for bankruptcy protection last month. The Houston-based restaurant group Landry's announced its intent to purchase Houlihan's for $40 million, Newsday reported.
