Jack Russell Terrier Seeks Patient, Loving Family
Bergen County Animal Shelter conducts adoptions 7 days a week.
The Bergen County Animal Shelterlocated in Teterboro always has great animals in their care available for adoption seven days a week.
The featured pet this week is Captain Jack (ID# 89437) a Jack Russell Terrier Mix. He was brought to the shelter because his original family didn't trust their grandchild around him. At 8 years old, this sweet pooch is looking for a calm and patient home with no young children, especially since the owner claimed he is now scared of kids due to her grandchild. When you lay eyes on Captain Jack, you will instantly feel his sorrow and want to take all his pain away. Sadly, Captain Jack is a fitting name since this unfortunate JRT mix appears to have only one eye.
Also meet Bravos (ID#88904) is an adorable black and white kitten. He enjoys being held and petted. He is up to date with shots and has been neutered.Â
Auggie (ID#89453) is irresistibly adorable but is a whirlwind of a dog and will need an active and patient family to help him get his start. Silly and social, Auggie unfortunately did not start off on the right foot, but thankfully, he has come a long way and is ready to step in the right direction. This 2-year old Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie/Poodle Mix needs a confident leader. A home without young children would be preferred. Auggie is up to date with shots and has been neutered.Â
