Movie Mondays Begin, New Businesses Open in Hasbrouck Heights

Coming up this week on Patch 

August is here and with it comes Movie Mondays.  Starting Monday, Aug. 5 the Hasbrouck Heights Library will screen films geared towards youngsters grades K to 6. The screenings will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. each Monday from Aug. 5 to Aug. 26. 

The schedule is: Aug. 5 - "A Monster in Paris," Aug. 12 - "Weiner Dog Nationals,"  Aug. 19 -  "Escape from Planet Earth," Aug. 26 - "Epic"

If you've driven on Route 17 south in the past week you may have noticed the 7-Eleven is now open at the Exxon station. Patch plans to have more information on that this week.

A new salon - Elie Michael - is gearing up to open its doors soon on Route 17 South. From the looks of it the salon is gearing to open up soon. Stay tuned to find out more this week.

Farmer's Market returns to the Central Avenue Parking Lot every Tuesday from 12 to 6 p.m. 

Teen Night at the Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club was postponed last week to this Thursday, Aug. 8 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Click here for more information.
