Pascrell Declared Winner in Democratic Primary
Bill Pascrell Jr. is seeking another term in Congress representing North Jersey.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — U.S. Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr. is slated to win the Democratic nomination for New Jersey's 9th Congressional U.S. House seat.
Politico called Pascrell the winner at about 9:30 p.m. He received 16,205 votes, or 85.7 percent of the total. His opponent, William Henry, received 2,693 votes, or 14.3percent of the total as of 11:30 p.m. with 78 percent of precincts reporting results.
Pascrell has been a member of Congress since 1997. He represented the 8th District until a redistricting was done in 2013. He then ran to represent the 9th District.

Eric Fisher ran unopposed for the Republican nomination.
The 9th Congressional District includes 27 Bergen County municipalities, two from Hudson County, and six from Passaic County.
