Rotary Club of Mid-Bergen County delivers Halloween costumes
Kids at Rochelle Park domestic abuse treatment center celebrate Halloween

This year, members of Rotary Club of Mid-Bergen County held a costume drive for children at the Center of Hope and Safety, a domestic abuse treatment center in Rochelle Park, New Jersey.
According to project chair Forrest Elliot, wearing a costume to school parties and trick-or-treating is an important part of childhood. “For kids living in shelters, it's just not in the budget to buy a costume,” Elliot said, “we wanted to give them costumes just like all the other kids so that they can trick or treat and attend events at school.”
Working with other organizations, the club delivered 75 new or gently used costumes and 90 buckets full of candy for the children at The Center of Hope and Safety.
