Violinist Diane Perry Returns to Playing Tonight!

Asks for a helping hand in the "Broke but not Broken" tour

"Nothing is scarier for a musician than hurting her hands," says violinist, songwriter, and vocalist Diane Perry. And unfortunately for her, Perry recently broke a bone in her left hand and fractured a finger on her right hand--all within the span of less than one week

The good news is she is expected to make a full recovery. Under the care of Dr. O. Alton Barron , who for more than 20 years has treated the members of the New York Philharmonic, Perry had a pin surgically inserted into one hand and a splint put on the other. The bad news is she has no health insurance and has been left with some pretty substantial bills.

To help defray the costs, Perry is staging a series of fundraisers, which she has named the "Return to Playing: Broke but not Broken" tour. She is asking for donations and will have t-shirts sporting an x-ray of her broken finger and copies of her long-awaited new solo CD available for purchase as well.
