The Hackensack Riverkeeper and United Water present the third annual Lake Tappan Paddle Day this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Washington Avenue North, in Old Tappan. Click here for more info. 

Sunday, Aug. 11 is Family Movie Night at the Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club. All are welcome whether one is a member or not as the fee is $5 for members or non-members. Popcorn, cotton candy and ice pops are complimentary. Hot dogs will be for sale. 

Saturday the New Jersey All Wood Baseball League has tryouts and registration for its Sam Bat Fall League for 10/11U players. Starting at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 10 you can register your child at Pennington Park Field, 350 McBride Avenue, Paterson, NJ. Visit www.njsambat.com for more information.
