Saturday, Aug. 3 is Family Picnic Night at the Hasbrouck Heights Swim Club from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Johnny Meatballs will be on hand converting his meatball cart into a pulled pork cart - get more of the scoop here. 

Not too far up Route 17 there's a family fair going on in Paramus. The Paramus PBA is hosting a carnival with rides, games and food on the grounds of Paramus Catholic High School. Unlimited rides all day/night with $25 wristband purchase. Proceeds benefit PBA charities. Get more information on Paramus Patch.
